Super Bowl Line Shocker

Hard to believe the the line is already out, but the Indianapolis Colts have opened up as a 5 point favorite in the early Super Bowl line. Given how many blow out wins the Saints had this year, and how many close calls the Colts had (including being down to the Jets at halftime), this Super Bowl line has more than a few people scratching their heads.

The early over under for the game is 56 points.

One thing worth considering: The Saints pulled out a tough fought win over a very strong Minnesota team, while the Colts beat a Jets team that wasn't even supposed to make the playoffs. Was the Minnnesota vs New Orleans game the real Super Bowl? Ok, that's probably over doing it a bit, but it does point to what might be wrong with the Super Bowl line. Hint, hint...
